Truth Be Told #14:

He Wasn't Just Being Good

Sam was good during Natalie's Shining Star Pageant.  He was quiet and didn't bug anyone too much.  Poor Brad still had to sit next to him though.  Sam even fell asleep.

I guess when he got home, ten minutes later he puked all over the place.  Sam is sick. He has the stomach flu.  He was up all night but I missed it because I slept over at Em's house.  Mom said he cried for me.

Mother Eloise didn't mind sitting home with him all weekend because she had this to read.

The pageant was so good.  The girl on the left is in Natalie's dance class a Keri's Dance Studio.  I am the helper in that class and get to do the show with them every year.  

This girl is in Natalie's dance class, too.  Our dance costumes for the show are really pretty.  They are pink dresses this year.

Every girl likes to wear pink and have sparkly shoes.  

Natalie looked really pretty and sang very well.  She did a Carrie Underwood song.  It was called There's A Place for Us.  The words have a lot of meaning.

Posted below is the song.  This video has clips from the Narnia movie it was used in.  It shows Carrie singing and recording the song which is cool.  Carrie is wearing a flannel shirt and has her hair twisted up and still is pretty.   Listen to the words, and think of Natalie and all of her friends.  The song is perfect just like the night was.  

Except for Sam puking, that is.

Enjoy the Super Bowl.  I kind of want San Francisco to win.  I am looking forward to the half time show and the commercials.
